Assisi

Assisi is 115 km from Parco delle Piscine and can be reached by car and train in approximately an hour and a half. Assisi is a city of Roman origins which went on to develop extraordinarily thanks to various Monastic movements (especially the Benedictines). It is known as the birth town of San Francesco in 1182.

It is known for being the city where St. Francis and St. Clare were born, lived and died.
